Privacy Policy

§1 GENERAL PROVISIONS

This document sets out the Privacy Policy of the MOONSTREET.pl store, which in particular covers the regulations concerning the protection of personal data and the security of other data entered into the Service by the User.

The Privacy Policy constitutes an integral annex to the Terms and Conditions.

§2 DEFINITIONS

The terms used in this document mean:

Service – the website at https://moonstreet.pl and all of its subpages,

Parties – the Administrator and the User,

User – a natural person who uses the Service and provides their personal data within it.

§3 PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The Administrator is the Controller of personal data within the meaning of the Regulation on the protection of personal data of 27 April 2016 (GDPR). The Administrator processes data to the extent, for the period, and for the purposes each time indicated in the content made available beneath the forms used to collect personal data from the User. Personal data will be transferred only to the Administrator’s trusted subcontractors, i.e. IT service providers, the accounting firm, and administration.

§4 USER RIGHTS

In the event of a change in personal data, the User should update it by sending an appropriate message to the Administrator. The User has the right to request access to the content of their personal data, to rectify it, to erase it, and the right to restrict its processing. In addition, also the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to the processing of personal data. The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. Providing personal data is voluntary; however, failure to give consent to data processing makes it impossible to use the Service. The Administrator may refuse to erase the User’s personal data if retaining the personal data is necessary due to an obligation imposed on the Administrator by the provisions of law.

§5 TECHNICAL DATA PROTECTION

The Administrator uses all technical and organizational means to ensure the security of the User’s personal data and to protect it against accidental or intentional destruction, accidental loss, modification, unauthorized disclosure, or access. The information is stored and processed on servers with a high level of security, using appropriate security measures that meet the requirements of Polish law. The Administrator undertakes to keep backup copies containing the User’s personal data. The entrusted data is stored on top-class equipment and servers in appropriately secured information storage centres, to which only authorized persons have access. The Administrator carries out activities related to the processing of personal data in compliance with all legal and technical requirements imposed on it by the regulations concerning the protection of personal data.

§6 COOKIES POLICY

For the convenience of Users, the Service uses cookies, among others, in order to adapt the service to users’ needs and for statistical purposes. Cookies are small text files sent by the website visited by an internet user to the user’s device. Two types of cookies are used within the Service: “session cookies” and “persistent cookies”. “Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User’s end device until logging out, leaving the website, or closing the software (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the period specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User. In the Service we use the following types of Cookies:

  •  a. “necessary” – enable the use of services available within the Service, e.g. used in handling user authorization,
  •  b. “security” – serve to ensure security, e.g. used to detect abuse in the use of the Service’s services,
  •  c. “performance” – enable the collection of information about how the Service is used,
  •  d. “functional” – enable remembering the settings selected by the User and personalizing the User’s interface, e.g. in terms of the selected language or the region the User comes from, font size, appearance of the Service, etc.,
  •  e. “advertising” – enable delivering to Users advertising content more tailored to their interests,
  •  f. “integration” – related to the third-party services used within the Service, e.g. Google Analytics, tawk.to. External services whose materials we present may also use cookies that enable logging in and serve to deliver advertisements corresponding to the user’s preferences and behaviour. Cookie settings can be changed in the web browser. Failure to change these settings means acceptance of the cookies used here.

§7 LOGS

In line with the practice of most websites, we store the HTTP requests directed to our server (server logs). In connection with the above, we store:

  • a. the IP addresses from which users view the informational content of our service;
  • b. the time the request arrived,
  • c. the time the response was sent,
  • d. the name of the client station – identification carried out by the HTTP protocol,
  • e. information about errors that occurred during the HTTP transaction,
  • f. the URL address of the page previously visited by the user (referer link),
  • g. information about the user’s browser.

The data gathered in the log files is used solely and exclusively for the purposes of administering the Service. The collected logs are stored for an indefinite period as auxiliary material used to administer the Service. The information contained in them is not disclosed to anyone other than persons authorized to administer the Service. On the basis of the log files, statistics may be generated to assist in administration. Aggregate summaries in the form of such statistics do not contain any features identifying the persons visiting the service.

§8 CONTACT

The User may contact the Administrator at any time in order to obtain information on whether and how the Administrator uses their personal data. The User may also request the Administrator to erase their personal data in whole or in a specified part.
